Using the OSU Online Directory with OS X Mail Client

Configuring OS X Mail Client:

1. Open Mail
2. Click on the Mail menu and choose Preferences
3. Check the box next to Automatically complete addresses
4. Click on the Configure LDAP button and then click on the Add button
5. In the Name box enter directory.oregonstate.edu.
6. In the Search base box, type o=orst.edu

To search for an address type the name of the person you are searching for in the To: field when composing a message and it will auto complete the address and give you other matches for that name.
